In the golf world for women, there are a lot of ladies who not just look attractive, but seem to be younger. Lexi Thompson comes to mind. Lexi Thompson's age has her wondering why she has been so successful on the golf course. Is she a born golfer or is there something else that sets her apart? This and more is all we'll be discussing this article as we learn about one of the most famous American golfers Lexi Thompson. The famous golfer was born in Coral Springs of Florida, United States of America on the 10th day of the month of February in 1995. Alexis Thompson is his birth name, while Amanda Thompson is his mother and Scott Thompson is his father. Lexi is a US national by birth and is of white ethnicity. One could say that Lexi got her golfing talents from her father as she was his golfer, who began playing from a young age. Later, he became the golf instructor after having quit playing competitively. Both of her brothers discussed below are also professionals. Lexis was a homeschooler in high school and in September of 2012, she was accepted into Louisiana State University for an undergraduate degree. Her first game was at a very young age and became the youngest player to make it into the US Women's Open at the age of 12 in 2007. In 2007 she wasn't the winner of the US Women's Open, however she did win her place in the Aldila Junior Classic to be the second. The most junior American Junior Golf Association member to ever win the award, she also took home the Westfield Junior PGA Championship in the same year.
