Ford vanished for some decades in the rock world following the release of both albums. Her acclaimed album, "Lita" which came out in 1988 was her return with the umph. Kiss Me Deadly was her greatest hit, as was the ballad Close My Eyes Forever and Kiss Me Deadly. Her success was not long-lasting since she went under the radar for a number of years. The "Black" album was released in 1995, and she followed it with her "Wicked Wonderland" release almost 15 years later. Her latest album, Time Capsule was released in 2016. Guitar Player Magazine awarded her the Certified Guitar Legend Award.
